Yotism in Education is a branch of the founding yoga training provider Yotism. We are a provider of therapeutic and specialised training for schools based on the principles of embedding connection, cohesion and calm within a school culture. Our training can be delivered as part of a school day inset program, a series of twilight sessions, team and personal development programs or staff wellbeing and mentoring courses.
Yotism in Education is a dynamic, interactive and engaging training provider that supports educational staff in their continuing professional development (CPD). It delivers practical and scientifically informed training on supporting pupils with neuro-sensory needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as well as barriers to learning, behaviour and classroom management and how to therapeutically nurture pupil wellbeing and emotional as well as academic development.
Training and workshops are developed using the profound and practical knowledge of body-brain sensory connections, neurological systems, developmental stages, the power of movement for learning and adaptive sensory yoga principles.
Yotism in Education is a progressive education training provider who is passionate about developing education staff and school systems knowledge of working holistically with pupils. We are a team of professionals with backgrounds in teaching, yoga therapy and special educational needs and subsequently, we are constantly researching, developing and building quality training programs that are creative, accessible and innovative. We plan our training so that they are easily applied to the daily demands of school life as well as instilling a renewed awareness about the diverse needs of our young people.
